Sabrina Lake

The Baker Estate - Sabrina Lake

Pictured in 1885 from the terraced lawns of the estate, man-made Sabrina Lake was decorated with a spray fountain, a white and gold boathouse storing rowboats and canoes, and a rustic bridge. By diverting streams, building dikes and excavating springs, Baker constructed this lake, which had a circumference of 1 1/2 miles, and stocked it with game fish. Private homes now border on Sabrina Lake.
