Fourth of July

The Fourth of July in Needham is the quintessential hometown patriotic holiday celebration. Sponsored for almost fifty years by the Needham Exchange Club, Independence Day in our town is celebrated with vestiges of times past, such as a concert, road race, and barbecue. A highlight is a parade viewed by thousands of people.

The St. Bartholomew Band, 1961 American Legion State Champion, was typical of the bands and other units which have marched in the procession.
