I'm tooling around at the Librarysite!As a teenage member of the town,
I must say that the "bedroom community" billing bestowed upon the town
is sort of an understatement. However, it seems to me,that too many kids find
the town "boring." I'll admit that our town isn't a barrel of laughs around the
clock, but spending a day at the library got me much more interested in the town's
history and role in Colonial Massachusetts.

I found out that living at 137 Garden Street isn't so bad after all. Garden Street
is very old and was located smack in the center of town not too long ago, just
as it is now, and was the residence of the influential Eaton family. It is my
opinion that if "Needham Online" was to work in tandem with The Needham
Historical Society, it could turn out to be very beneficial for both parties,
especially since the Historical Society has the strangest hours I've ever seen.

(webmaster's note: Any volunteers? We'll post anything supplied by the
Historical Society...just need someone to interview the staff there and type
it up...)

Train wrecks are more subtle than the library's patronage of Needham Online.

Aunt, Mary Boreyko-Kasten, of Needham MA. She has lost touch with her aunt

I'm a 1979 graduate of NHS and haven't had any contact with anybody in town
almost since then when I moved over seas. I now live in Nashville and would be
interested in hearing from some of my old classmates. I was never contacted about
any class reunions since my family has all moved away. Would love to have a link
back to the town where I grew up.

You have done a nice job with the page. I am a former Needhamite and can
honestly say that If I were to move back to MA. Needham is where I would
want to be. It's a great town with great schools. I miss you guys, even though I am
only a few hundred miles north of you right now. Every time I visit I feel like I
am home!
