I enjoyed looking at all the businesses that have been listed. The home picture
graphics particularly interested me.

What can I say, except that Needham is a phenomenal town that deserves
high-ranked credit, appreciation and pride!

I'm at college in Philadelphia, and thought you should know that I was
very impressed/proud to find Needham on the web. The specific reason
I was looking for it, though, was to get absentee ballot information.
None to be found (unless I was missing it). It wouldn't be a bad idea
to at least have info. about voting, and ideally to be able to
register/receive absentee info. on the internet. Overall, though, a
very impressive web site.

(webmaster's note - I spoke with the Town Clerk and posted the
information needed to request an absentee ballot.)

I'm looking to rent a 1 bedroom or studio apartment in Needham.
Can you give me some helpful advice?

I loved looking at the Needham home page! I haven't lived there in about 14 years,
but I try to get back at least a few times a year. I would like information on 1979
class reunions or to hear from any old friends!

You guys have really improved the page since I was here last. Good Job.
My mother now lives in West Virginia, but the ties to Needham are still there.
Her name was Thelma Catherine Thompson, Needham High School class of 1953.
She is in ill health. I am sure she would like to hear from any of her classmates
who read this or anyone that remember her or her family, Arthur Elliott Thompson
and Catherine Thompson.

I will forward all messages I receive to her. I am also a graduate of
Needham High School class of 1974, would like to hear from any classmates.
I now live in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I dearly miss the four
seasons we had. I haven't been back home since 1979.

Thanks for listening to me.

Nice to have a site for this Town. Haven't browsed it yet, but doubtless
will be back.

I came here looking to connect with a potential babysitter for our two daughters.
I would like to be able to send an e-mail to someone in our neighborhood who
is looking for occassional babysitting work.

"Firstly, Hi ! from the southern edge of South America (Buenos Aires,
Argentina more precisely).

How come I landed in far away and unknown Needham? To make it short. A
co-worker is arriving october 5 to Boston. He'll be assisting to Intelec96
Conference at the Westin Hotel in the city proper. The trouble was that when
our bosses finally gave the green light for travelling there, there were no
hotels vacancys left. Only choice was a reservation at the Needham Sheraton
(12 miles away from the conference site!).

That's how Needham got into the picture. As an internet traveler I told my
buddy to take it easy, and would try to find about your city, transportation,
etc...

Used CityNet.Boston as stepping stone to find MBTA' page about subway/train
combinations and timetables. Fantastic results. We had commuting schedules,
etc. Only trouble was: how Needham looked like?. And which of the 3 Needham
stations was nearer to the hotel. Easy Breezy. Found Needham Online home page
thanks to Amy and Lee's hard work and loving presentation of their city.
Dindn't find an answer to my questions but, what a find!

Since I found this place, I've been lurking around, reading the now defunct
LOADED NACHO zine (some other students will surely keep the flame glowing) ,
read about people longing for a comeback to their native city or about
hearing from old school buddies and friends, french students who won't forget
their stay in Needham, about your business, your restaurants, school
activities, The Childrens Museum, the ballot results, etc. And what about
Thursdays evenings outdoor jazz concerts, as mentioned by David Rutter in
your Guestbook? Sure the season is to chilly right now! I feel like I'd been
in my own neighborhood!!

This is already too long. It's just a "Story of Two Cities", Needham and
Buenos Aires. Of Needham's people and Buenos Aires people, with same hopes,
same human interests. Just plain, simple folks sharing the same planet.
Well, I just told my buddy that he'll find himself in a friendly city!
I truly envy my friend who'll be living a short time among Needham's
townsfolk.

Thanks for your patience. I'm sure that Rodolfo will bring back good memories
of his stay there.Bye now.

Que tengan un buen dia
(Hope you'll enjoy the day)"

PS: I work at a telecom company, my wife is a retired teacher. We have 4
grown-up kids.
