Bill Wheaton - Falls Church, VA
  • I grew up in Needham, graduating in 1960 from NHS.
I visited last year after many years and noticed many changes. Mainly that the town center is much less active than I remember it being 30 years ago.
I enjoyed the visit. Visited my old home on High Rock St., but didn't see anyone I knew from times past.
I'm in constant touch with Roger and Marilyn deVeer by e-mail.
Hope to hear from some class of '60 folks.

  • Hello Needham,
I have found the site for your town and need information about your Council on Aging. The site I used lists one being in the town however no working address is listed. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks Dave Colarusso

  • We are moving to Needham in October. I love that the town has a page and was hoping to check out various events. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that section has been updated since April. Any plans to update this?
    Thanks- Laura

  • The town of Needham is most enjoyable! I have
been there a few times, and find it to be a
wonderful slice of New England. I look forward
to visiting again soon. The library has a
wonderful genealogy section. I am a desecendant
of the Mills families who were among the original
settlers of Needham. (So if you are a Mills from
    Needham - Hi, Cousin!!!)

Thanks for the informative site !

  • Although I really enjoyed the webpage, I was looking for more historical/genealogical information. I was hoping to find some information about the Allsebrook sisters, 1890-1950 that settled in that area from Nottingham, England with their parents; Thomas and Jane Allsebrook and were employed with the knitting factories of that area (Carter Mills?). The genealogy info would help so people about to visit that area would know what all resources were available. Thanks. Any Allsebrook descendants please contact me: Kennedy, Grayhurst, Oborne, Coulthurst, Martin,
